Hey LISPers

I have a question: I recently purchased a joint MLA/ALA membership, but I'm yet to learn my MLA membership number. Has anyone recently beome a member and received a number?

I want to register for the MILI Workshop in Lansing, but I can't without a code (or at least pay full price).

  • I joined MLA/ALA back in January, and if I recall it took awhile to get the MLA information. I received the ALA information before the MLA. I believe this is because when sending in the form, it goes to the ALA first, then is forwarded to the MLA.

  • I join MLA/ALA in May 2008. I just received my member ID and login in December. Not sure, why it took so long.
